Rayannah
Rayannah’s unique voice resonates in echoes and layers to create something out of nothing. Armed with loop pedals, the bilingual artist builds sequences on the spot with her voice, breath, percussion, and synthesizers. Her visceral lyrics in French and English float above soundscapes that are sometimes sparse, sometimes dense and complex.
A one-woman band both on stage and in the studio, Rayannah released her first full-length album, Nos repaires, in March 2019. This new collection of mostly French-language songs continues the momentum of her first EP, Boxcar Lullabies, while opening up more of the artist’s dreamlike and colorful universe.
In 2019, Rayannah was named “Francophone Artist of the Year” and “Producer of the Year” with her colleague Mario Lepage at the Western Canadian Music Awards, becoming the first Francophones to receive this honor. She also won the “Export Ouest” award at the Trille Or.
Born and still based in Winnipeg, Rayannah has taken her electro-alternative sound on tour across Canada and Europe. Whether opening for Esperanza Spalding, Ariane Moffatt, or Saul Williams, alone on stage or accompanied by her band, Rayannah shares a feverish and intimate experience with her audience.
Konflit
Since 2001, KONFLIT has produced six albums and performed over 300 shows across Canada. Known for its experimental approach and powerful theatrical stage presence, the band has established itself as a major force in Franco-Ontarian counterculture.
Over the years, KONFLIT has developed a unique artistic universe, collaborating with Franco-Ontarian poets such as Patrice Desbiens, Robert Dickson, and Daniel Aubin, integrating their texts into its musical approach. Their album Konflit dramatiK (2008), which won the Best Album award at the 2009 Gala Trille Or, left its mark on an entire generation and remains a staple of Franco-Ontarian music.
The group has performed on several major stages, including La Nuit sur l’étang, La Nuit émergente, the Festival franco-ontarien, Francofête en Acadie, and as the opening act for The Roots in Ottawa in front of more than 6,000 spectators. Still very active in Sudbury’s cultural community, KONFLIT will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its first album, Hors d’œuvre, with a show at Collège Boréal in 2026, and is also preparing a new album scheduled for release in 2027.
Magic Pelvis
Magic Pelvis is a trio from Sudbury. Composed of three passionate musicians, the band stands out for its experimental pieces blending rock, jazz, punk, and psychedelic influences, offering audiences surprising and captivating sonic odysseys.
The band is known for compositions that explore bold and unconventional musical territories. In 2015, they attracted attention with the EP Shit Faced & Pig Headed, a project that made its mark on the local music scene with its fusion of influences and its raw and inventive approach.
In 2018, Magic Pelvis released Menthols & Red Caps, an album with hypnotic and immersive sounds that invites the listener to travel through unconventional musical landscapes. Then, in 2019, the band presented their eponymous album, with striking guitar riffs, punchy bass, and intense percussion, reflecting the raw energy and exploratory spirit that characterizes them.
Very active on the Sudbury music scene, Magic Pelvis continues to surprise and engage audiences with powerful, unpredictable, and deeply original live experiences.

La Slague's Evolution
La Slague is a Francophone concert promotion agency in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Its history extends back to the 60’s and 70’s, when La Slague presented performers such as Félix Leclerc, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Cano, Renée Claude, Harmonium and Offenbach. La Slague went dormant for a time in the 1990s, but it roared back to life in 2006 as part of the Carrefour francophone’s programming. Today, La Slague has been officially awarded the title of best concert promoter in French Ontario!
