Breen LeBoeuf presents...
His blues won’t fit through the door, but his name will enter into rock history. Renowned bassist and vocalist with supergroups such as April Wine and Québec’s Offenbach, the kid from North Bay has come a long way since the ’70s. Sudbury applauded him in fine form at the 2024 edition of La Nuit sur l’étang. He has rubbed shoulders with many rockers, so if he has noticed this performer, we should too.
Phil Roze
You hear him and you know: this bushy-bearded guy is the real deal. Sometimes tender, sometimes tough, his lyrics can pinch your heart or punch your gut. His tone is sometimes pensive, sometimes abrasive, always on the mark. He has shared the stage with big names, including Breen LeBoeuf, with whom he’s got a project going. His fifty shades of Roze don’t include bubble-gum pink.

La Slague's Evolution
La Slague was established in 1964 by the Centre des jeunes de Sudbury. After many years of success, La Slague went dormant, and then reappeared for a time in the mid-1980s as a community-based volunteer organization. With La Slague’s renaissance in 2006 as part of the Carrefour francophone, a third generation of concert promotion activities was afoot.
